TRACK AND FIELD: Contenders get whole week to train

After winning a pair of District 15-5A track championships, the Cy Creek Cougars and Lady Cougars have their sights set on the Region II-5A meet on May 3-4 at Baylor Stadium in Waco.
Cy Creek's Lady Cougars scored 176 points to win the District 15-5A meet by 54 points over Cy Woods (122) and 66 over Cy-Fair (113).
“Cy Creek has an excellent team,“ said Cy Woods track coach Mike Zacos. “They should have several girls who have a chance to do well at regionals.“ |
