Q&A with Cypress Creek senior Jonathan Edwards
After taking home the gold in four events at the state swim meet last month, the All-Greater Houston boys swimmer of the year took a big sigh of relief. With plans to attend Stanford next year, Edwards' swimming career is far from over.
Q: What is next for you?
A: I am going to Stanford and majoring in mechanical engineering. I would like to make it to the Olympics, but I don't know if I will be at that level. It has been a goal of mine for a long time, though.
Q: How did you decide on Stanford?
A: I had four top schools on my list, and they were all really different. But once I went on my visit to Stanford, I knew that it was where I wanted to go.
