A Letter From Lee Hartwell
Head of Spring Cougar Day Planning Committee
To all of you that attended the Cougar Day kick-off meeting, THANK YOU. We had a good turn out. We are still in need of liaisons, volunteers and committee chairs. Don't get scared with all the attachments, they are all very important:
- Silent Auction Assignments - please remember that if players donate items that do not fit your theme, we will gladly accept them; nothing will be turned down.
- Cougar Day Parent Letters - I took the liberty of creating a letter for each sport, which indicates what is required from that sport, player donations and liaison contact information; if you have already created something, please let me know as I have received the approval from Coach McCaig to have copies distributed to the players (I will provide the copies); please let me know if there are any changes; would like to post a copy to each individual page of the website
- Silent Auction Parent Letter - this will be attached to the flyer along with the a copy of the donation suggestion
- Donation Letter - this packet includes the "donation request" letter, donor form that is required to be included with each donation and tax information; let your parents know that this will be posted on the website
I have updated the Cougar Day planning document with complete event details; the Lizarragas will be posting to the website.
Included with all your communications to your parents, please direct them to the website www.cycreekabc.com as everything will be posted. You also need to remind them that we will be taking individual head shots and team pictures (not for sale) for each sport. The pictures will be used for the spring edition of the media guide. Hopefully the coaches will coordinate what the players should wear.

Lastly, I need some one to help reach out to the various school clubs like NHS, PALS etc...who may need some community service hours. We need all the volunteers we can get to work.
Our meetings will be held on Wednesdays in the Coach’s office at 6:30pm.
