Going once... going twice... SOLD!

The Silent Auction is one of the many highlights of Cougar Day! This year we are striving to raise record-setting numbers to be able to continue to provide our school, coaches and athletes in their given sport! We need your help to put together auction items that will generate a buzz!

The Donor Form & Tax I.D. # is available for you to download to have readily available to you for donors to fill out.

Players:

Players will be asked to donate the following:

All Freshman players – each player bring one 8 pack of 20oz bottled Gatorade, any flavor

All Sophomore players – each player bring one case 16oz bottled water (minimum 24)

Sr. & Jr. Boys – each player bring 2 dozen individually wrapped homemade or purchased cookies, brownies or cupcakes; used as the desert for the Bake Potato meals; MUST BE WRAPPED

Jr. Girls – each player bring one case of 20oz bottled water

Sr. Girls – balloons & ribbon in royal blue, white & silver; also provide help with the decoration committee

All drinks & deserts can be brought the day of the event, but the decoration materials need to be coordinated with the Softball Liaison before the event

We need at least 20 pop up tents, 20 folding tables and 50 folding chairs; maybe someone has a connection with their neighborhood’s Community/Club house that would lend them out; EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE LABELED!

Parents:

Each sport will be responsible for donating;a theme basket and 3- 5 additional individual silent auction items. (depending on team size)

Suggestions are:

CCABC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so donations are Tax
Deductible. See the Cougar Day section of the Booster Club website for
donation request letters, proof of tax status, forms, etc.

SILENT AUCTION COMMITTEE: From Ginger Sarabia

We have provided several items that will be helpful in jump starting this process

Donor Letter	a letter to be used when soliciting donations, donor form required for each donation turned in and tax information
Basket Assignments	listing of each sport and the themed basket they are responsible for donating; Boys soccer did not have a representative
Donation Suggestions	there are still a lot of ideas for donations, so when communicating to the liaison let them know that we will take anything
Parent Letter	I will be making copies of this and including it with a packet that I am hoping the coaches will pass out to the athletes
Donation List	I have a template that you can use to keep track of the donations; as you begin to fill it out, you can send copies to Judy & David Lizarraga who manage the website
Bid Sheet Form	this template will be needed for each silent auction item
Liaisons	listing of the 2010 Sports Liaisons
Process Doc	this was put together by Delisa Piercy, who did an amazing job the past few years; it is quite comprehensive, but I think we can possibly make it a bit more simpler
