Cy-Creek started strong sending 13 men to the plate in the first two innings, but managed to score only3 runs. Creek's 3-1 lead evaporated in the 3rd as A&M scored 9 runs in route to their 11-3 win over Creek to kick off theWoodlands Tourney. Sami Resendez took the loss for Creek, but had 2 RBI's. Kyle Huff and Kyle Rousseau lead the hitting attach with two hits each.

Kyle Rousseau went the distance for the Cougars and handed the powerful Klein team its only loss of the season. Rousseau limited the Kats to 6 hits. The Cougars had their best offensive performance of the season with 13 hits as Cy Creek defeated Klein 7-5 at Scotland Yard. Rousseau also lead Creek with 3 hits, including a double and 2 RBI's. Eight Cougars had hits with Zack Williams and Will Froebel contributing doubles. Dylan Pugliese recorded the final out with the tying runs on base.

Cy Creek battled back from a 8-0 deficit to make a game out of it, but ended up losing 10-6 to a strong Woodlands club. Taylor Abel and Dylan Pugliese lead the Cougars with 2 hits, a run and RBI each. Matt Spiller knocked in two runs with a base hit in the 2nd inning. Taylor Abel took the loss.

The bats exploded against Klein Oak in the final game of the Woodlands tournament. The Cougars pounded out 18 hits and were lead by Camron Baumbach and Zach Williams who were perfect at the plate. Baumbach, who went 3 for 3 with a walk and double, scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Williams went 4 for 4 with a double, scored a run and had 2 RBI's. Dylan Pugliese also had 3 hits and drove in 3. Drew Santalucia went the distance on the mound to pick up the win for the Cougars. For the tournament, the Cougars went 2-2 against very challenging competition. Their season record is 4-3. |
